Statement:

My work, positioned from a bird's-eye vantage point, invites the viewer to engage with the ordinary and repetitive aspects of our lives. Our daily rhythms are enduring, with an almost spiritual quality to them. This may be because we feel security in what is familiar. Recognizing and elevating the existence of these hidden everyday patterns has the power to expand one’s personal perspective. With this vision, I decontextualize common, shared environments and reconstruct them. By building a renewed awareness of our universal patterns, I aim to create a space for the reflection of self and community.
